Anyone use the fisher price soothing motions glider? How long can they stay in it?
Mommy to 3 asked:

My son is 2.5 years old an weighs in at 28 pounds. It is worth buying if it allows you to get some rest.

I used mine until my son was 6 or 7 months. It didn’t help all of the time, but it did help enough for me to really appreciate it! My son has been very high-needs since birth. If it’s not gonna kill you, I say buy it.
Edit: I’ll just add that my son did not like the glider until he was about 3 months.

I remember reading ALL the reviews, and such. It looked like a wonderful buy! So I got one. My son did not like it. He fussed and cried. I tried it at 1 month old. I was glad I bought it at walmart, so I could take it back. I would recommend buying it from a place you can return it, just in case your son doesn’t take a liking to it.
My sons a colicky baby. It’s been interesting. So I was hoping that that swing would help. Oh well.
Also, it’s bland. When the baby wants to look at bright colors, there are none on the swing. But I suppose you could add some brighter toys.

just make sure if you leave him in there for extended time period that he gets neck support.
