Baby walkers come in various styles and types. The style of infant seats is also an important consideration. Most full sized models will have a seat that detaches and pops into a base in your car, but some will also have the option of being positioned frontwards or backwards when in the stroller. This means that you can keep a closer eye on a smaller infant without sacrificing the ability to turn them out to the world as they get bigger.
You should also consider whether you need a seat that fully declines to lay down, or if several different positions upright are enough.
For extra smooth glide and gentle transfer over rougher terrains, many strollers are now coming with advanced designs for the wheels and brake systems. You may even consider purchasing a three wheel design rather than the typical two wheels.
If you are having twins or will be using the stroller for two smaller children, consider how the seats are arranged as well. A double stroller with two pop-out seats is essential for twins, while a stadium style with a raised rear seat may be better suited to children of different ages.
Finally, consider how much room you need on board for storage. Consider how often this area will be used and if it needs to be oversized or not.
With so many different options for strollers and baby walkers today, it is no wonder that many parents are uncertain how to select the right one. Get familiar with the market and consider the style and color options available with each model. You may even go for a special design feature, such as a full sized canopy that closes all the way around the stroller.

My son is 6 months old and wears a 5-1/2 extra wide shoe. As you may realise, I am having difficulty in locating a soft shoe for him to wear while in his exersaucer, sitting in his walker, and to protect him from the cold, winter weather. Does anyone know where I can find a decent pair of soft - pre-walker - baby shoes that are both warm and comfortable for him?
I dont mean ALL day just what do you have them in?? My daughter is now 6 months and can sit unattended, i sit her on the floor with pillows behind her in case she tips back with all her toys, or she is in her walker. We have tummy time together once a day. She used to be in her bouncer which she is too big for now and she gets sick of her swing because she cant move in it. So what things do your babies sit in?? I need ideas for her.
for the past week it seems that my 9 month old baby has been having trouble breathing. he breaths through his mouth but only when he is active like playing with his toys or walking in his walker. he seems to take deep breaths, but when he sleeps he breathes perfectly through his nose i took him to the dr she gave him a nebulizer machine but its noy helping. is this normal?
My first daughter was 6lb 15oz born. She started walking just before she was 1. My second daughter was 9lb born and is now 6 month old. She races arouns in her walker but the seat holds most her weight. I was wondering if larger babies walk later because of all the extra weight they have to balance? What do you think/know from experience?

THANKS A BUNCH!!!
I have seen several posts on here saying that walkers are bad for babies. Are they for sure saying that (do you have a link) or is it just something someone said? I haven't seen anything on the news or net about this. My little one seems like she might be ready for one. I haven't decided to get a walker or push toy yet. Give me your opinions!
Thanks!
She's 9 months old and pulling to stand and taking 1-2 steps.
Just checking... as i know that walkers now are no no's. just wanted to make sure that walking holding their fingers and letting them push a toy around would not hinder walking!?
First off we have hardwood floors. We also have her jumperoo, her walker, her play pen and her swing in the living room along with a couch, loveseat and recliner. I'm wanting to make a soft area where she can play in the floor with her toys and crawl around. Plus, our living room is small as it is.
