Hi,
I am 28 weeks pregnant & have a question for mom's out there. It's a very silly question. We are registering & I see a lot of mom's around town carry their baby in what I assume to be the baby's car seat. So I'm guessing it just snaps out & you carry baby around town with it (probably great when baby is asleep!).
It seems like this would be great for grocery shopping when a stroller & cart is too much to handle. But I'm wondering how useful it is otherwise? And is it pretty heavy?
We are looking at Car seats & as far as I understand you can do an infant seat which is a "travel system" and the seat "snaps" out. Or you can do a convertible seat which is used by Infants & Toddlers so you don't need to buy a new one down the road. I think we'd like to do a convertible seat to save the $$ on two. But I just want to make sure I understand this correctly & am wondering if the usefulness of the travel system outweighs the cost of the 2 car seats.
Any help is appreciated!
